County Wexford with kids – Hook Lighthouse

Our first staycation holiday in 2021 started just a few days before the begging of July. Full of excitement and panic, we packed madly the clothes for all possible seasons and headed off for a first holiday in 2021 outside our own home! We set off for Ireland’s East coast and relocated ourselves to Rosslare, county Wexford, for a week full of hopes for no rain and some sunny spells. I am really happy to report that we got very lucky. We got the sunshine, we got some holiday rest and enjoyed the slow pace of a small seaside town. We also went on a few trips with our little boys and here are a few memories from a trip to Hook Lighthouse. If your plans for this summer are located in Wexford, bring your little ones there. You will all have a great time.

PS: A playground and a coffee shop just next to the lighthouse 🙂 life cannot be easier, right?

"Michaela Mac Donnell came to our house one sunny Sunday morning and spent a few hours with us capturing our life as a new family. She is such a lovely person and so easy to work with. It was like having a friend in the house as opposed to a stranger and she just observed us and took photos, with as little intervention as possible. Her use of natural light, beautiful composition and ability to capture the best of us meant I got exactly what I was looking for and far more beyond that. Thank you Michaela.
